One Day Eventing

Up to my early teens I was on horseback. I started competing on a very small level from about 8 years old and progressed to one day eventing for the BHS into my early teens.Gave up due to competing in strength sports taking off.

Formula Ford

Competed briefly in Formula Ford.

Not terribly good but this gave me a real passion for

Power

Held British and European title consecutively for 9 years 1991 to 2000

World Championships:

1991 Italy: 3rd

1992 Columbus USA: 3rd

1993 Germany: 2nd

1994 Belgium: 3rd

1995 Columbus USA: 2nd

1996 WPC Durban South Africa: 2nd - Silver Medal Placing for GB

1997 WPC UK: 2nd

1998 WPC Las Vegas: 2nd

1999 WPF Graz Austria: 2nd

2000 WPF Graz Austria: 1ST Gold for GB

Finally won the world title and best overall female lifter in 2000 at the WPF World Championships in Graz, Austria and retired (temporarily) from powerlifting

 

2001

EFBB Southern Championships: 1st place

WABBA British Championships: 1st place

2002

Welsh Open Championships: 1st

EFBB North West Championships: 1st

2003

September – WFBB Championships – 1st place.

 

2004

1st Norway Strength challenge, Oslo – April ,

2nd SE Strongest Woman.

Came out of retirement from Powerlifting:

 1st :UK Benchpress Championships

 

2005

1st: Northern Benchpress Championships (qualifiers for Britain's),

1st: British Benchpress championships, broke British record and qualified for World championships

1st Place WPC World Powerlifting Championships, Helsinki, Finland, Benchpress & took World Record

2006

July : 1st place British Powerlifting Chamionships-benchpress

Took World record

World championships not attended due to further exams

2007

July: 1st place British Championships – benchpress

Took new world bench record for WPC 90kg class 162.5kg
